Dear Venturers, We all need a fluffy bird like Katie in our lives…

  Dear Venturers, Are you going to Scarborough Fair? I went to the Scarborough Renaissance Fair about two weeks ago. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed at the lack of history (I feel like “Fantasy Fair” might have been a better name…) but  I still had a wonderful time. I also ran into a lady who was wearing a beautifully made robe a l’anglaise (like the one from Outlander. It was Celtic Weekend) who complemented me on my kirtle ☺️☺️ The hours of hand sewing seem little more worth it  lol  So anyhoo, I didn’t take many pictures but here’s some… I made the straps a bit too big😆 they kept falling down Katie’s so frickin cute. Just look at those fat little legs  We also got to see some very spooky monsters in the mythical creatures museum The jousting is a must of course! There was also a large gathering of kilt-clad festival goers
